After programming the carrier settings using this tool, if I do a full restore back to factory settings with iTunes, will I have to use this tool again to reprogram all the carrier settings? Also, if my carrier doesn't use Akey, do I just leave it blank or fill it will 0's?

do not mess with the akey,and if you restore you will need to reload carrier bundle,depending on how you restore will depend on if you need to rewrite settings.

When I click READ it says:
Reading SID and NID
Failed to access mobile service!
EDIT:

Hello everyone, need some help please. I’ve been reading the forums and cannot find the answer. I’d already jailbreak/ssh installed on iPhone 4…ready to buy credit for the tool but before I do that I have a few questions. Flash will be to PagePlus and I do not have any phone/acct with them yet.
Do I need to open an account first with Pageplus? And get a phone?
If so can I open the account on their website/call them ....or can I just open an account after the flash and what kind of information do I given them.
Thanks in advance. If this has already been answered please note the link, I will appreciated.
