What files do you need? We might be able to point you in the right direction. Most if not all you need should be available right here in this very forum. If not let us know and we can try and help.

You will need the service books for Metro PCS. There are a few out there that are free. I think they are right here on Gurus if I am not mistaken.

I'm getting a Blackberry 8330 sometime this week...is there a solution to this problem yet? is it possible to just write a prl to it?

Yeah, I got all the software to write the files in to the phone , but I can not find it to download. My phone was a verizon phone.
Any help would be appreciated.

what about a sprint bb 8330 will this work for it?

yes. You can write this Prl into any phone you want to flash to metro, but the service books only work for any blackberry.

i have the bb 8330 i was able to flash to metro pcs with no problems but for some reason i cannot get the wap and mms to stay working it fails after about a week. any ideas ?

you need to change the EVDO password to the six digit MSL code. I posted a guide in the metro PCS section.

This info is all over this site. You won't be using CDMA WS to load the SB's. Here's a link found right here is the Metro BlackBerry forum.

I found another link (TY Google) for the service books, although I can't verify it's the correct file since I haven't used it yet. I threw it on my HF account for anyone to dl until he gets it back up...
