Cricket In Los Angeles Market?

Lately i've had customers calling my store asking if I could flash their phones to Cricket Wireless. I've been telling them that i probaly can but Cricket isnt in the Los Angeles Market they say all they need is the flash and they can get it activated though another store. Since MetroPCS is in Los Angeles is Cricket planning to come to Los Angeles anytime soon or are they already here?

How does Cricket Compare to MetroPCS Pros/Cons?

"Yes. It sounds like it is a trial Cricket is doing a trail in LA with a master dealer. I just found out about it myself when I was in Las Vegas last week. Cricket’s National sales team is heading up the trial. The master dealer’s doors are selling our Paygo rate plans only, like Best Buy and Wal-Mart, (Phone in a box). The unlimited rate plans are not offered anywhere else but “Cricket owned markets”. It’s a totally different business plan than what we have. We were told there are no plans to offer unlimited plans outside of the cricket foot print due to cost limitations."
