blackberry 9670 conection problem

when i connect to cdma or qpst they cant find the connection,all drivers are installed.should i do something to the phone before connecting or what?anyhelp would be apprecaited.

you gotta have desktop manager open and make sure the phones pin is showing in there.

i have desktop manager open,pin is showing still not found

Are you using desktop manager 5.0 or 6.0 you need 6.0 to read the phone.

you do not need 6.0 to read this phone,(i dont use it,it has givin me nothing but probs)if u cant read it try to change cables,ports (usb port on pc),restart phone and pc,also you should show 2 blackberry ports in your device manager,normally you would use the higher number port,but you should try both.clean the port on the phone also. it is possible that the port on the phone is damaged in such a way that it may still charge but isnt readable as far as diagnostics,use some kind of magnification to look at it and chk for damage.
