Evo 4g on boost lost 3g

I have an evo 4g that was working perfectly with profile updates and prl update working perfectly. It now wont connect to 3g. i have tried rewriting meid and all parameters in qpst with still no avail. Anyone else overcome something like this?

nfskid actual yes I had that problem and was failing authentication which you can check with ##debug# then goto EVDO engineering and scroll to the bottom for AN/AAA Authentication....see if it says Authenticated....The way I fixed mine was I simply updated to a Gingerbread Rom and now its all working again....good luck.

Yes for some wierd reason it started working after 5 days. i was holding off on Gingerbread because its the phone my dad uses and he likes his sense ui and the Gb rom sprint pushed broke his netflix but i believe they fixed that so maybe its time to update. Thank you for the reply.
