Update on cricket iphone text message problem

this may not be soon enough for you,but the intercarrier sms repair is slated to be implemented this wed night into thursday morning.

that is 2-15-12 to 2-16-12 if all goes well we will all have working sms thursday morning.sorry to inconvenience you. and btw its free.

Hey rick! Im getting really tired of waiting for something that was started a year ago WTF???? I am not receiving any text and it is pissing me off and customer service dont know shit!!! Im still getting text messages to my android score intead of my iphone 4!!! any idea when this will be fixed in hayden idaho or Spokane Wa??????

First post and crying already cause his iphone does not work. Sound like your a spoil kid. When they get it fix rich/rick will let us know, he is the only one I know with information on it. Next time try to post something useful instead of complaining.

So are you puting the fix out or is cricket fixing it with a new pro or a update and if so how would we no if u or cricket put the fix out

if you read thru this thread i explane it.but, the fix will be implemented thru crickets switch,meaning that you wont have to do anything to make it work.cricket will handle the conversion then send the compatable data to your iphone converting the data from 8 bit to 7 bit and that is what iphone needs to be able to handle the message.many peeps are responsible for the "fix",mostly crickets engineering and sms teams, it took alot of people get this done as well as vice president approval,that is why it has taken so long,we have know since the begining and lab testing proved that the problem was iphones lack of ability to deal with 8 bit encoding.

Sweeeeeeeet I am so happy so they is no way to change the 8bit in the iphone to 7bit

if you mean is there a boolean for it the answer is no,it can be changed within the phone but there is no need to now.
