Ota is now working on flashed androids for crickets no proxy 4-23-2011 (confirmed)

finally ota is working with flashed androids. we confirmed this is true today so far

successful on moto droid x ,and htc evo,will try on more.

so we used to have to put the phones on the 45 dollar plan and ota and get nationwide working and then back to the 60z for all of us using the no proxy. not any more

just put it on the 60z and ota!

credit goes to my compadre thephoneguy913,he works beside me daily and is the one that found this to be now be working this morning.

one thing we have noticed with these changes is issues with text messaging on some of the phones,mostly the non-android models,specifically the pixi & pre which was just fixed by beezle with the new roms on 1.9.7 (not working anymore),and the treo's wm 5.1 & 6.1. both are having issues,at least they are here. we are gonna change prl's and also make sure they are ota'd and see if that helps. but this is the android section.

Just ota'd my hero, updated the prl to 42600 and better signal strength.

i am noticing the phones are much faster after ota,it is also writing 42600 here.

I personally noticed that in Las Vegas when I visited the ota prls such as 42800 and 42900 didn't work there at all in the triband market but good ol 4399 did.

Just thought I'd throw that in there, is it that much of a difference in signal from the 4399? not trying to hijack just comparing
