yes,i wrote this guide before there was any such thing as carrier.prl but things change quickly in the tech world

worked like a charm. THANKS ...however, my carrier still says Sprint 12.0 but the PRL has changed. I was unable to verify by calling the number - probably due to two reasons 1. phone is not activated 2. trying this from a non-CDMA country / Europe

Any idea how to activate the phone from overseas?
