a tip for you and the ota programming is you will have to try it more than once. it has taken me sometimes 10 or 12 try's before success.
when you dial it and it hangs up right away it is because it needs to roam for it to work,(verizon does not work with *2804,only *228)so watch the signal bar,and after you call and it hangs up signal will be lost for a few seconds,that is your oppertunity to call it again (quickly) and get it to roam to complete the call.
