Update on verizon iphone 4 flash to cricket....

Sorry guys if I'm posting in wrong thread or if I should have started new one on this post. Anyway, I have my iPhone 4 from Verizon and it's flashed to Cricket(which I have posted many times before,sorry) and I was looking at my account on mycricket.com and came across something interesting. Immediately after I login to my account the next page that appears is a summary of my account which towards the bottom lists my phone model which is usually correct no matter what phone I have had. Now my phone is listed as Motorola K1M KRZR. I'm curious to what others are being listed as. Any ideas to why this specific model is listed? If others that have iPhone flashed to cricket have same model listed it would make sense.

Hey Rich, Is the Cricket iphone you tried to text to from your tmobile iphone also yours? I'm guessing not. just wondering because if it is yours i was curious to what phone model does cricket list on their accounts as?

it is my phone i have several,i am a cricket dealer as well.the model listed on your acct is whatever the person that added your meid to your acct put there,or if they didnt change it then it was listed as that when you had the phone before that iphone.
because the phone wont work with data yet it really does not matter what model it is listed as. for basic services as talk and text model makes no difference.

I just fashed the iphone, text and talk works. I change the sid on the pri file. what do I need to change, so my iphone would say cricket.

the quick way is just look for an app in cydia called fake carrier....install it and just change your carriers name to whatever you want.

hey i just got the verizon iphone and did the meid change to cricket and *22804 dont work is it another way to get talk and text thanx in advance
