    Default ATT HTC Inspire 4G

    WTF? Att blocks all third party apps on Android. If it isn't in the Market, you can't install it. You can download it but that's where it stops. Guess it is time to root my new phone...

    HD2 wap & mms settings for SimpMo
    I had to configure an HD2 for a store a couple of days ago.
    I didn't see anything in this section regarding the HD2.
    My bad if this has been posted B4.

    ---------HTC HD2 WAP & MMS settings for Simple Mobile--------

    INTERNET CONNECTION:

    Go to:
    Start, settings, Connections icon, Connections Icon, Advanced tab (Bottom left), Select Networks button, New.. button(Top connection)

    My ISP name: Simple Data
    Tap Modem tab (bottom), New.. button

    Enter a name for connection: Simple WAP

    Select a modem: Cellular line (GPRS)

    Access point name: simple

    Tap Next (Bottom right)

    User name: (Leave blank)
    Password: (Leave blank)
    Domain: (Leave blank)

    Tap Finish (Bottom right)
    Tap OK until you exit out of Connection settings

    MMS:

    Go to:
    Start, Messages, Menu (Bottom right), Settings, Options, Menu (Bottom right), MMS Server, New

    Server name: Simple MMS

    IP address: 216.155.165.50

    Port number: 8080

    Server address: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Connect via: Simple data

    Messages size limit: 1024 KB

    WAP version: 2.0

    Tap Done (Bottom left), Menu, Set as Default, Tap OK, Exit out of MMS settings

    This is true. ATT does block all 3rd party apps for their Android phones. You are on the right path though... Rooting the phone is the way!
