metropcs internet not working on droid eris

hi ever since the internet went down on metropcs went down i have been tring to reflash my phone myself. i have updated my phone with the PB00IMG.ZIP and it has been succesfully updated. but when i try to download autostart(root) it doesnt open. if anyone has a different way please tell me. i would prefer steps or directions on how to flash it without having to download cdma workshop, qpst config., and etc. . but if their arnt other ways than thats cool too. THANK YOU

You may just need to go into EPST on your phone [ dial ##786 then send]...and enter your metro MSL/SPC
The "DATA/WAP" password needs to be your MSL instead of vzw or if its blank
