The National Park Service has refused a permit for theĀ-March for Our LivesĀ-anti-gun rally at the National Mall in Washington so that part of the space can be used instead for a student talent show. Organizers of the March 24 protest are now seeking a permit to use Pennsylvania Avenue on a route that would take them from the Capitol to Trump International Hotel, NBC-4 reported. The massive anti-gun rally, spearheaded by survivors of the Feb. 14 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, that killed 17 people, is expected to draw 500,000 marchers.
