mrmike69, do you already have a cricket prl in the phone? if so and you are just trying to update it why dont you try the over the air programming ? dial *228 or *22804 the send, and see if it will take automatically over the air.

if you dont have workshop, use qpst/roam/preferred roaming, then load, then write it,then you are good. workshop is by far the esier though.

the prl thephoneguy just posted (42800)

we have been sitting here messing around with it,comparing it to recently released prls, here is what we found.

we put it on his droid 2

it had an immediate and noticable difference in speed.

    it was much faster,

signal was at full as it should have been here in the inner city.

it played youtube for 5 minutes nonstop,no buffering,no nothing.

when we hit play it started quik, within a few seconds. i am sure it would go longer, but we got busy and stopped it.

we will try it out on a incredible tomorrow and post anything we notice.

we have'nt ever really compared prl's so i thought with all the new one's being released it would be a good thing to make some comparisons,

since cricket does'nt do anything but throw them out there.

we are there repair center here in kc and they dont even tell us when they are releasing new one or what is different about them.

guru's please add to this thread anything you might notice about differences in these prls.

if needed, modds please split thread off to its own,and rename. thanks.

Looking for 42900. I have a zio with it on board. If someone could point me in the right direction in copying it, I would be happy to post on the prl on here. I too need it but can't seem to find any info on copying off a zio. I no longer use the zio. I have a DX on cricket running 42600. Tried 42800 today and ran into issues with receiving calls. Anyone else in my boat?? In the Hilton Head / Savannah area.
