I've done a few searches and asked around with no luck as of yet.
What area are you in and does the area code match what's in the phone. Do you connect to cricket at all or is it the american roaming network, bussy tone or what?

american roaming network. i think it might be what they said about being in the actual market area to activate or make phone functional anyway i canceled service but may decide to try again in future
