so i'm gonna have to edit the carrier.plist to get 3G data going on an iPhone 4 flashed to CricKet? i was reading a couple of lines in the carrier.plist and seems it controls alot that has to do with the networking on an iPhone 4.

But, then again perhaps i only need to edit/write to the .prl i am using...hmmm?

well of course you need to edit the cplist,but thats not all.i am not sure why you would think you need to edit the prl,the prl's work for data on all the other phones so what would you gain editing a prl for ip?

@rich hathaway So, other than the carrier.plist, I'd have to edit the commcenter, and the purpose of editing the commcenter is to bypass the digital signature in the iOS. Without said edit(aka patch) the iPhone rejects any editing to the carrier.plist. Correct?

Cause i can do that in a hex editor. BTW, my iOS is... 4.2.8(8E401). So, I know there is a unique way for each different iOS to bypass the digital signature, meaning 1 method on 4.2.8 won't work on any other iOS. What iOS have you been working with on your project?
