I had a Moto Droid flashed to Cricket. I live in a Tri-Band area and it was working just fine. I had talk, text and Web (3G). The market worked fine, and so did any other app that needed web access. MMS didn't work but that was not an issue for me as I never sent pics. I was on the 35 dollar plan with the 5 dollar web addon. I had it for 2 months before I traded it for a Cricket Huawei Ascend.

Thanks for the fast replay. I'm not to familiar with writing the evdo tab or whatever, but this is the tutorial I used to flash the phone. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

It worked just now I'm using a 42900.prl and I have the 55 dollar blackberry plan so maybe that could be it. Did I miss the evdo part or sumthing? once web and video works than i'm fine with it for now. till i switch to at&t

Still using phone but have not been able to get it working yet. I could not find a cdma workshop for my phone because the 2.7 version does not work. I get range error which im sure u guys have heard before. Is there anyway around this to fix the issue. I pay for this $55 dollar plan, i just want to make use of it. Thanks in advance for all u guys.

for the storm you need a few tools and softwares,might be easier for you to take that phone to have it flashed,as cdma workshop is 108 bucks and the service books are not freeware either plus the hassle of figuring it out = simpler to pay someone to do it and be done.or if you really want to do it yourself start looking for service books for your carrier and do some research on legacy mode,its cheaper than buying the crack utility,although i have heard it has been posted free somewhere but havent seen it.

Anyone know how to get the prl file from the Android that cricket has? I have a friend that is local here in Nashville that has cricket and I was wanting to ask her if she can send me her prl file. She has a rooted Android that she got from cricket. What would I need to tell her to do? Sorry for the noob questions.

read it with workshop,send the spc,click the "other"tab then under prl click read,then save the file,and thats it.
