I want to edit the internet settings for a different carrier...Is that possible???

Yes it is possible. I haven't had one in yet so i haven't had a chance to play around and flash one.

I suspect your going to need to use either LGNPST or LG download, then you'll need the dll, bin, scr files and do some tinkering and playing with setting.
What carrier are you flashing it to?

what is the code to get to the programming menu??I tried editing the mip and ppp fields but I am unable to get on the internet.
