It's the account/phone. If you were on say the 55 or 45 all in one you would ota fine. My account is the same way.
I will give that one a shot, although, I think I have tried that. I have a feeling it is a setting somewhere in my epst that is off. I need to find someone with an evo that can *228 in the kc area that will do a comparison of thier epst with mine to find out just what is wrong.
*EDIT* Just tried 1039 and I still get the "We are sorry. We are unable to program your phone" error message when I try to *228 for some reason. It has to be some setting somewhere.

What do you mean? Do you mean that it is a setting on the phone? I am on the droid plan and listed as the M6000. The only thing I can figure is that it has to be some setting on my phone or something on Cricket's end.
I think I need to find someone that will compare their epst settings to know if it is on my phone or something else
If you're using a Droid, the 4xxxx.prl will be a bad idea. It's an all-digital phone, not a tri-band phone.
The 4xxxx PRL tries to use Analog signal as well as 1x and 3g evdo signals.
You need a 3xxxx PRL which is digital only, and has 3g.
If you use a modern PRL, you DON'T NEED to *228. Ever. This one is the most recent that I've found.
