Palm Pre Bypass Activation Easy Way

So, I posted a long guide way back when. Here's an update to the palm pre for users looking for a quick bypass. I have used this on the Pixi, Pixi Plus, Pre and Pre Plus with no issues.

1. Download bypass activation tool here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].


2. Place your palm in usb mode. Take out battery. Hold volume up while inserting battery and inserting usb cable.


3. After pc finds driver for novatel, you need to go to command prompt. (Start Menu, Run, cmd.)


4. In command prompt type or copy/paste from the same directory you have the devicetool.jar located: java -jar devicetool.jar

5. After the program is complete, it will reboot the phone and take a few minutes for the device to power up. The phone will now have bypassed activation.
