Thanks! I think this is the best place to post this tidbit I discovered. I have seen other threads about this in other forums: sometimes a Verizon Droid that has been flashed to cricket in the past will have an SPC that is no longer 000000. For a while now when a customer came in to my shop I had no idea how to get it because it was always a motorola droid and i had no idea how to retrieve the changed spc. I realized that these phones had always been flashed by a "Flash-To-Talk" store and that their software changes the spc. A few days ago someone brought in an LG Ally that Flash to Talk had flashed, so I just used LG method with workshop to read the SPC, and on a whim I wrote it down just in case it turned out that flash to talk always changes the SPC to the same 6 digit number. Today I got a Motorola DroidA855 in and lo and behold its spc was not 000000, so I tried the SPC I had read off the Ally and it was the same 6 digit number!
I feel like a real jerk rt now because I wrote it down at work and now i am at home and cant remember it so cannot post it, sorry I will post it tomorrow.
But in the meantime, I wonder if perhaps Flash-to-talk has a few spc/msl numbers they change their phones to, maybe it varies by city or maybe it is always the same one. Anyone else have experience with this?

yep, most of the automatd flahing softwares will change the spc to spc of there liking,it is a screw up in my opinion because this will keep ota programming from working and nationwide coverage wont work on alot of hndsets without ota first.but er exactly right they do change it to the same number on there phone, the mf flasher, kirks flasher and the magic phone flasher do the same thing.
