Nvidia is now rolling out Software Upgrade 5.0 to older Shield TV units
Nvidia is upgrading its older Shield TV with the new features added to its 2017 model, such as the Android 7 Nougat update. Other features added to the 2015 unit include the new Nvidia Games app and 4K HDR Amazon Video streaming.
