LG today promoted Jo Seong-jin, the head of its Home Appliance & Air Solutions business, to CEO of the entire company effective immediately. Jo will be responsible for all of LG Electronics' business units, which include mobile communications, home entertainment and vehicle components, and home appliances. LG promoted dozens of other executives in its annual review. Juno Cho, the head of LG's mobile division, will remain in place.
