Following the endless stream of leaks over the past few months, there might not be anything left to announce. But nevertheless, Apple made its September 7th event official today when it sent out invites to members of the press. As usual, the company didn't confirm anything that would be revealed at the event in the invite, but we're fairly certain the iPhone 7 will take center stage . DON'T MISS:- Apple's new iPhone 7 is going to be SO much better-than any Android phone... If you've been keeping up with the leaks, you know that the next iPhone actually appears to be losing more features than it's gaining. The controversial decision to eliminate the headphone jack has been a major topic of discussion ever since the rumors began to crop up late last year, and coupled with the fact that we're almost certainly going to have to wait until 2017 for a significant redesign, many iPhone fans are especially curious about what exactly Apple has in store for this year. Apple will likely also spend some time focusing on iOS 10, the latest and greatest version of the company's mobile operating system. We've liked what we've seen so far from the developer releases and the public beta , but we should finally learn when the general public can get its hands on iOS 10 in two weeks. Other than the iPhone 7, there's a chance we'll see a new line of iPads, a MacBook refresh and even the Apple Watch 2 at the September event, but rumors regarding additional reveals have been few and far between. As always, we'll be covering the event as it happens, so be sure to come back to BGR on September 7th at 1 PM ET for all the biggest news from Apple.
