Default Vx5500/vx5600 web & pics simple flash (my solution)

ok,so i figured this out because i guesse i did'nt search enough to find that someone else had already cracked this little phone. having said that my solution is different from the one here. i wrote this tut. and then found the other one posted here from ho-fo. that is much more complicated.so this is what i wrote...

ok,here is my contribution to the forum.(lg verizon vx 5500 & 5600 full flash to cricket w/web & mms in and out working ) i am seeing many people asking for this and i figured it out,so i am contributing this solution for
everyone that needs a little help with it.
first of all i am assuming you have talk and text,if you dont ,that is covered here in more than one place,(spc is simple with workshop)
also try *228 or *22804 to get all things updated,if it works great, if not oh-well,you will still get web and pics.

i read all about editing the 'paramtable1.fil' file with bitpim, and i tryed with no luck,i always got the " your locked out by the service provider" error,so that would'nt work,at least not for me.so here is what i did.

i used lgnpst, open it, connect your phone if you dont have the 5500 or 5600 dll and generic, then use the more readilly available vx8560 dll's these will work fine for reading and writing.

read the phone, and edit the required fields i.e.see my screenshots, the one with the mdn @mycricket.com is the data tab, sorry i was in a hurry.

replace the 10 zero's with your phone number,so it should read ( example:5555555555@mycricket.com) no spaces and all lower case.also that tab is the data tab,i cut that off the top and was in to big of a hurry to redo.

this is how i set mine up,i may have edited a few paramiters that i did not have to but everything is working on more than one of these i have here at the store. so, tryed and true. after that reset the phone by popping out the battery and boom-bada-bing net and pics.

there are other ways to flash this phone but this works and is simple.
almost the same for about a 50 other phones.

if you need help hit me up (p.m.) and ask away. i am posting a few screen shots of lgnpst. hope they come out ok.

    have fun!

i am editing this because i just did a vx5500pp (prepaid) and it was a little different. you have to enable the hidden menu in lgnpst then after you are done with lgnpst and reset the phone dial ##program5500 then send then send the spc "000000" then go to test mms and edit those fields to reflect the screenshot tabed mms and reset and you will be good to go.
