    Just an addition to this post,
    You can hard-reset ANY android device by putting it in fastboot mode, then open up a command prompt, navigate to your android-sdk folder and type:

    - HOW TO HARD RESET - Samsung Fascinate SCH-I500 I500 Galaxy S

    - Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications. Only perform this reset if absolutely necessary.

    - Hard reset does not erase the Mobile Directory Number or the Preferred Roaming List.


    Press and hold the Power button.

    Select Power off.

    Press & Hold the VOLUME UP / VOLUME DOWN keys and the POWER button simultaneuously.

    RELEASE POWER button ONLY

    From the Recovery screen

    Press the Volume down key to select wipe data / factory reset.

    Select Home.

    Select Volume Up to continue.

    Allow the factory reset process to complete (approximately 1 minute).

    Ensure reboot system now is selected.

    Select Home.
    SLEEP IS OVER RATED

    How to Hard Reset Motorola Charm MB502 to Factory Settings :

    Factory Data Reset

    From the screen of your phone, open the Applications Tray. (circle located in the middle at the right of the display screen) Or press the Menu button on the left from your screen.
    Tap Settings.
    Scroll down and tap Privacy.
    Tap Factory Data Reset.
    Tap Reset Phone.
    Hard Reset using Buttons

    Power off the phone, press and hold “X” key, then press power button.
    Release “X” key when Triangle Droid screen is displayed.
    Press Power button again to enter recovery mode and display menu choices.
    Use Right/Left Nav-Key arrows to navigate through the on-screen menu
    Navigate on-screen menu to select “wipe data/factory reset” and then press “Return” key
    Navigate on-screen menu to select “reboot system now” and then press “Return” key
    Wait for device to reboot
    SLEEP IS OVER RATED

    Default How to Hard Reset LG E739 MYTOUCH 4G

    1. Turn off the phone.

    2. Press and Hold the VOLUME DOWN and POWER keys.

    3. WAIT 3 SECONDS

    4. PRESS the BACK and MENU keys.

    Note: If you see the LG logo before pressing the Back and Menu keys, the reset hasnt been completed and you will need to restart.

    4. Release the Power/Lock key after you see the LG logo.
    5. Release the remaining keys after the LG logo flashes (blinks once).
    6. The Android Unpacking screen appears.
    7. The phone will restart and complete the factory reset.
