Google has put its Nexus smartphones up for sale before, but if you missed those sales or weren’t really ready to upgrade, you’ve got another chance now. If you head to the Google Store, you’ll see both the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X on sale with a $50 discount. Basically, the 32GB Nexus 6P is down to $450, the 64GB version to $500, and the 128GB version to $600. If a 5-inch phone is more your flavor, the 5X is down to $300 or $350, for the 16GB or 32GB versions, respectively. Well, it seems as though the discount is also available at Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and B&H Photo Video. Not only that, but if you end up buying the Nexus 6P at Newegg, you’ll also get a free clear case and a $50 gift card. Not bad! Of course, you might not want that clear case — Google just launched customizable ‘Live Cases’ for its Nexus phones.-To make a personalized case, you can upload your own design and there’s a programmable hardware button on the back, all for $35. The sale is running from April 15 all the way to May 6, so if you have yet to make your mind about whether or not you want to pull the trigger, you have a few weeks to decide. Apart from the storage choices, the Google Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. It also includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. You can find our review of the device here. The Nexus 6P offers a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. The processor in the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. Sure, $50 might not sound like such a big deal, but for Google’s flagship smartphone, there might not be a better time to pull the trigger-than now, at least until right before Google’s ready to take the wraps off of its next-generation smartphones.
