How to flash Motorola Droid to Cricket : 2.2 Froyo "supposedly"

I found this link over at XDA and wanted to share but I have not confirmed it to work so do this at your own risk. If you get it to work please share that if you can find the time.

I'm trying to pickup a Droid on the cheap so I can test, but it seems to me the $55 plan eliminates the majority of those steps.

well here is 2.2 ROM for cricket...... just load sprecovery, load rom, and regular flash and write nv items. done

THIS IS BASED ON OFFICIAL 2.2 FOR MOTO DROID. YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE INFAMOUS "GOOGLE TALK AUTHENTIFICATION ERROR" THAT U GET WITH PORTED 2.2 ROMS.
