Do you have QPST open as well?
Hi
Ive been having problems using QXDM when trying to flash my sprint Blackberry Curve 8330 to metro pcs. I have blackberry desktop running with the blackberry on com 4. I connect to it with QXDM (3.11.36) and it connects fine, but when I try to read the memory, it doesn't allow me to. Everything is greyed out, and wont let me edit ANYTHING. Also its all zeroed out. I have the same problem when I connect a completely DIFFERENT blackberry to it, QXDM wont let me edit/read anything (blackberry pearl 8130).
Even with unicdma, I have tried to scan the memory more than once, and it came back with "Unreadable area at 0x00000000" and i go thru the whole process with nothing.
It USE to let me edit the memory though, before I updated the blackberry desktop manager...
Anybody else have this problem with QXDM?
or is it the phone that is messed up? or am I doing something wrong?
thanks!...

yea just tried that. Didn't make a difference...
The Blackberry software is probably too new. If it is updated to 4.5 the memory is more than likely blocked and it's not a QXDM issue. If it has an MEID you will more than likely have to purchase the MSL/SPC from someone. If it has an ESN.... Google downgrade blackberry software.
Downgrade it to 4.2 to be safe and then try it again. Backup everything before downgrading.
Here is a link for qxdm and blackberries i found here. it is for cricket, not sure what carrier you are flashing to, but this should help you at least help you connect.

[/HIDE-THANKS] Perhaps you should try the older version of QXDM 2.08.
