Verizon Wireless has resurrected its bonus LTE data program for people who subscribe to its XL and XXL plans. For a limited time, customers who upgrade or activate a new phone with a device payment will receive a 2 GB data bonus per month "for life." The 2 GB of bonus data is available to each line on a plan up to 10 lines. A family with four lines, for example, will see a total of 8 GB added to the account each month. The data can be shared across devices, including tablets and mobile hotspots, but can't be awarded to new tablet/hotspot lines. Verizon says customers need to remain subscribed to an XL or XXL plan, which include 12 GB and 18 GB, respectively, to keep the bonus monthly data.
