    Default Help with adb remount

    Yes I know I am the front runner for the dumbass of the year award! ok Im trying to install u2nl and autostart.sh files to my droid. H-F tut tell me to type the following

    cd /Android/tools
    then type adb remount
    when i do it reads as following
    adb server is out of date killing....
    *daemon started successfully*
    error: device not found

    WTF? Can someone please clue me in as to what im missing? Yes the device is plugged in. Yes its in debugging mode with unknown sources checked. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    error: device not found
    Double check that you show an ADB interface. Also double check the drivers.

    you're having issues with your drivers.
    try re-installing them from the official source.
    and try downloading an updated version of the android sdk.

    Hello,

    I keep having this problem it just seem to pop up every few weeks.

    I cant fix it by reinstalling the drivers for the Droid I have to put my windows cd in my dvd and boot into the instalation menu then click on fix system or whatever it is system recovery

    I run that and then I reinstall the Droid drivers and it works

    usually the error "device not found" is due to USB debugging not being turned on

    I figured it out shortly after i posted it. I was up for ten hours getting my butt whooped by it! But thanks for your input though!
