I'm Getting ready to buy a NETBOOK any recommedations

I've been a lot more mobile lately and I think it's time for me to get a mini laptop ie. NETBOOK .

I pretty much just need the NETBOOK for Web Browsing and maybe email (I have a BB & the Web speed is making me lose $$$)

If the netbook could run some programs for cellular unlocking / Flasing that would be awesome too.

Any brands makes models I should stay away from?

Anybody have any recommendations .

XP/ Windows 7 (I'd prefer XP if available)
Processor
DVD drive???
Hard drive
RAM
Battery Life
Wi-Fi or Wireless / USB

I have a HP Mini 311 with 3Gb Ram, WinXP, Nvidia ION chip...Netbooks don't have optical drives tho...but for a netbook...mine owns...i can play COD MW2 on it and get 8Hrs battery life...will prolly run you like $400-$500 new for my config...but i love it

Gateway also has a particulary good line of netbooks. for the money, though, to be frank, it's hard to beat Dell.

Seconded on the HP mini. It is a powerhouse for its price point.
