T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray took to the company's blog today to share news of the Uncarrier's LTE network. The company says its LTE 4G footprint grew by almost 1 million square miles during 2015 and is available to 304 million Americans. Moreover, its 700MHz spectrum ("Extended Range LTE") is up and running in 300 markets, including recent additions Seattle, Cincinnati, and New York City. The company is already putting carrier aggregation to use to help boost speeds, and it plans to move to tri-band carrier aggregation and deploy 4X4 MIMO in 2016. T-Mobile says it will participate "aggressively" in the upcoming 600MHz spectrum auction as it continues to build out coverage and improve performance of its network.
