Apple’s iPhone sales over the last quarter delivered in a major way, with the company over the last three months selling 48 million units. The 48 million figure represents a 22% increase in sales year over year, an impressive feat to be sure. All the more impressive is that revenue generated from the iPhone is up 36% year over year. But per usual, there’s a whole lot more to Apple’s iPhone story than meets the eye.
