The first Apple-developed app made specifically for Android is designed to help users move data over to Cupertino's ecosystem. As well as transferring over contacts, messaging history, photos, bookmarks, email accounts and calendars via a private WiFi link, "Move to iOS" also searches the App Store for equivalents to installed Android apps. Free apps will be downloaded automatically while paid apps are added to an iTunes Wish List, notes Apple Insider.
