Default Drive image not wanting to boot?

Ok, so my tech computer with all my firmware etc crashes. Turns out its the hard drive, but luckily I imaged the hard drive with imagedrive xml just awhile back.

So I restore the image and everything looks good till I hook it up to my computer. Then it tells me it cant find a valid boot sector. It works great with another hard drive, and even runs the imaged one as a slave. It just wont boot from it. Any ideas???

Which OS is it? Also is it a brand new drive you threw the image onto? If it is you may have to do fixmbr or something similar to initialize the boot sector.
