On the same day Samsung is expected to unveil its latest premium smartphones, Xiaomi has launched new handsets that have flagship-level guts for a super-low starting price of $125. The Chinese phone maker's newest phablet, the Redmi Note 2 and the more premium Note 2 Prime, will be available online in China starting Aug. 16 for RMB799 ($125) and RMB999 ($156), respectively. It's surprising what Xiaomi has managed to squeeze into the Redmi Note 2 for the price.
