By Nqobile Dludla JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South African telecoms network operator MTN has been turning away customers hoping to buy mobile phones at some of its stores due to supply shortages caused by a labour dispute, sales staff told Reuters on Thursday. Around 2,000 workers at the Communication Workers Union (CWU) have been on strike since May 20 over pay negotiations and the two sides remain deadlocked. MTN has offered a performance-related 8 percent pay rise, while the CWU is demanding across-the-board increases.
