LG 840 Cricket Files, Need the modified SCR

Hey guys,
I got a LG 840 from telus, and i have the old Cricket BIN/SCR file from the old MF. But the SCR file is bad, it says
Process: Script
task: Writing Script (NV)
cause:
nv_writeset_lg_banner
{""Cricket""}

NV Metadata not support script parsing

any help would be great thanks

Did you flash the generic bin first?

Sounds like the nv command isn't recognized by the dll or firmware.

This isn't a very important item.

Open the scr file in a word/text editor and put a ' in front of that command. Save and try to flash again.

Or, you can go to the error log file inside the folder and see what the exact error is.

If you've flashed the generic first, what you can do is copy the error where it says NV_WRITESET. Then open the .scr file in a text editor. (Notepad works great) Then do a find. When it finds that command string, just put a ; (semi colon) in front of the command. Then save and try again.
Ive seen it do this even with stock verizon fw with the same version bin and scr.
