Sprint Rumor 2

So here is the deal. Under the battery the rumor 2 I have says it is an AX265 yet in LG Downloader it states it is an LX265R05 So is it an AX as is printed on the label or is it an LX as stated in LG Downloader? Regardless of that I can fire up the trust ol VX9900.dll and pull up the NV but am just curious if I do this will it possibly brick the phone? I have done a number of flashes and been successful at them for the most part even to the point of getting wap and mms working on some that others just couldn't do but leery of editing those tables.

What I really need to know is how the whole LG downloader/nv_flash work. If I am using the wrong dll will it corrupt the NV on the phone or if it can red it it can write it? I am thinking that the DLLs basically tell the software what it can write to but then it wouldn't have values for those areas would it?

Anyhow..... VX9900.dll works and you can write prl to phone also you can read the NV When I have the ability to connect to cricket and do an esn change I will see if I can get wap and mms up on the rumor 2 since I cannot find a tut on anyone getting it done.

if its sprint branded, the ax solution WILL NOT work. even if it says "bejax"

I've tried a lot of different things with the LX265. Nothing seems 2 work. I believe some1 may have gotten wap 2 work but after this much time mms prolly never will. When it comes 2 the Sprint Rumor 2 just change the PRL & leave it @ that. Many-a-great minds have put 2 much time in2 it with no results...

where do i get the sprint files at? I been googling it, cant seem to locate the bin file for a sprint rumor 2. I have one that needs to go BACK to sprint.
