internet works but not apps that use data

i bought my phone two days ago and the person flashed it for me all the apps and internet and everything worked but i brought it home and used htc sync. then i lost all data capabilities, i finaly got the basic browser back working after using anycut, but how do i get the rest of the apps to work such as gmail, am very new to this whole flashing thing so any help would be greatly appreciated

First my friend...you have to let us know what kind of phone you are using...maybe one of us can help you to solve your problem...

oh im sorry, i am using the htc hero flahsed to metro pcs

since this is not a free solution, i think the best bet is to take it back to the person who flashed it for u.

can you do a software update from phone? It might delete your flash but you can alwayz reflash it. Or like kc said just take it back to the person who flashed it for u.
