    You need to write nv items so the ev-do settings will stick.

    how did you get cdma workshop to see the phone, i have been trying to do this but its not working. i cannot see the com port either. please assist.

    Did you get the port to opne its pretty simple just go to settings, then phone settings, under connections put as a modem through usb and thats it. Make sure you have the drivers installed I have just the regular samsung drivers and that does the job.
