Default what is Tor and why you should be using it.

For all of those who don't know what the Tor browser is, its essentially a Browser that is an entry way into the Deep Web, The deep web consists of unindexed content by standard search engines like Google, yahoo, msn etc etc.

The biggest gain from using tor is that its an open network that helps you remain unmonitored by your ISP, the government or 3rd parties traffic analysis, network surveillance and other confidential information that could be at risk over your traditional web browsers like chrome, firefox etc etc. The Tor project is helping the average joe keep their privacy and freedom amongst the internet.

The deep web is 4k-5k times larger then the surface internet you see today, it is mostly comprised of locked down databases and other information, for starters you'll want to hit up the hidden wiki to get acquainted with the deep webs various services, which ranges from buying electronics, certain "substances", illegally obtained paypals, botnets, even contract hitmen, and one of the most mainstream known Ebay-like websites you can find in the deepweb is silkroad 2.0, and when you are on various sites such as these only bitcoins are used as currency since it is a virtually untraceable currency, and you don't use ANY of your personal emails, logins on various mainstream internet based websites, tor is constantly bouncing your IP from different nodes so it'll screw up your paypal account or gmail account when you login, they will think someone hacked into your account and you will have to verify a bunch of crap to get it reinstated.

so tor is the entry way into true privacy on the internet, I don't use it much since everything associated with it is mostly illegal, but I do appreciate the Tor project and their doings, and others who support this type of movement, I recommend using a deepweb email when you're communicating with people on forums, chat rooms etc on the deepweb, I use safemail.net or I forgot what it was called, has been a while since I last visited. If you need links to any of the above mentioned sites, please feel free to PM me, as you cannot search any of these on TOR, you must have Direct links to every website, as most of it is unindexed like I've said.

One thing to keep in mind is that to acheave complete online anonymity takes a lot more work then just tor!

So many things on your computer scream out to the world who you really are including your computers serial number - service code ect if you registered it. If you want 100% anonymity you need to buy a used computer from another part of the country before you begin.

I would not suggest a new top of the line computer to be used with tor because whats the point once you get set up your internet speeds are going to crawl along because of all the switches and routers your going to be bounced around.

Also TOR will not make you invisible and is very easily discoverable by those how know how to track it ie your ISP and the government and when your ISP detects it they hand you off to the government so to combat that you need to be proxied with a fixed privet proxie via VPN FIRST! Then I would suggest running thorough one (If not more) public proxies.

One thing you may want to do is use a hotspot for ISP ESPECIALLY if you have a fixed ip but even those with dynamic ip from their isps are not any safer like you used to be.

However TOR has 2 fatal flaws if you need absolute invisibility

1 - It was designed under the US Navy which means that the ones most of us would want to be invisible from are the ones who know every security flaw in the system!

2 - Its biggest flaw (Not only) is that if the Anoymizer server gets to busy (or for just about anyother reason) and the connection with your computer gets disconnected the anoymizer switches to the regular network mode and sends everything it has stored as unprotected data. Obviously hackers or anyone else looking could easily intercept your traffic.

A lot of people say that TOR is not intended to secure data and that you need to use ssl over tor for security but tor is just to slow so it becomes impractical.

However, if you have tor set up correctly and you use a clean computer with no personal information on it and you provide no personal information while on it EVER. You can stay pretty clean!

that is pointless, just dont plot to kill people and view kiddie porn and you will be ok.lol.
if you need to stay anon then head to mcdonalds to use there wifi .proxies do not hide you.even multiple proxies do not.
you can never be completely anon and will always be vulnerable because thats the way the web was made,to gather and store information.
no matter how long you make the path,it will always lead back to you.
