Some questions for you before I suggest anyone:

    1) How much disk space do you NEED?
    2) How much traffic are you used to having and/or need to sustain your site?
    3) What is your budget and how much are you looking at spending per month?
    4) Dedicated or Shared hosting?

1)Just a basic site not too much needed basically for flashing and phones that I have available
possibly list each of the drivers for carrier for long distance flashing and such
2)I'm not expecting alot of traffic but the more the bettter lol
3)cheapest without an ad at the top would be best on the price
    4) whichever is best for what I said above
Ive done a simple one with 1GB storage with godaddy and that worked fine

Ok then. My host is Host4Cheap.org and I've been pleased with them since I got them 1 year ago. I have had downtime for a grand total of 5 days that were not out of the host's hands. There was a period of 1 week which occurred because someone hacked the main network, but 5 (24 hour periods) days worth of downtime in 365 days isn't too bad. Most of the downtime was 1 hour around 1 or 2 in the morning when most people wouldn't even notice it.

I'm on the Large plan which is 2GB of space and 40GB of transfer. That's $31 a year...not per month. You get cPanel and no banner ads whatsoever. If you need bigger space, they've got monthly plans [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] from $5 to $10.

About their customer service: Rarely has there been a time where I haven't received a response within 24 hours of filing a support ticket. It's not the automatic GoDaddy, but you're not paying for GoDaddy here.

My site gets a lot of picture traffic and I use about 18-20 GB of transfer a month at about .4 MB per image. If you are using it for a small business page and a place for you to download a few drivers, I'm sure it'd be perfectly fine. If you plan on letting other people download, I suggest looking into a dedicated Intel Atom server. They run about $50 a month, but 250 GB of space and you have a dedicated 10Mbps line. You can even host other sites using cPanel and act as a reseller

The problem with other people downloading off YOUR site is that you can't control how they download. You could easily run out of bandwidth if you open yourself up to it because one person decides to download the file 100 times.
