Ripping Firmware from Phone

It seems that Pocket has started purchasing LG 160's (Flare) from Sprint and they've put their own software onto it. Can anyone guide me in ripping the software from the phone so I can test it on another Sprint flare to see if I can release it? I want to see if picture messaging would be possible. It looks like the phone can receive, but not send, but that's better than Sprint's firmware where you can't get pics on Cricket/Pocket/Metro

I think you're descibing dumping a bin from the phone. I don't think this is possible on Lgs. This only works on the HTCs from what I understand. Your best bet would be to find the lg bind, dll, and scr for the phone.
