USB 720 Verizon Modem with cdmaworkshop?

I recently flashed that modem, I can connect via proxy on firefox
but I want to use cdmaworkshop mobile without having to starbucks or random unsecure wireless to get it running
anyone have any ideas?
or is it even possible

Tech told me to do this:
Windows XP:*) Go to Command Line (press "Start" button, then "Run")
Vista, Windows 7:*) Go to Command Line (press "Start" button, then use "Search" field)
and run CDMA Workshop as written below: cmd /k "C:\PATH TO CDMA WORKSHOP FOLDER\cdma_workshop.exe" /c_log

then send to them to check what was wrong, but right after typing that, works fine for me
