Bricked a LG dare going from Telus to VZW

So i got a Telus vx9700, and tried to do the MMS/WAP on it, didn't work, so I was thinking i could load the 9700 bin/scr files into it then reflash it and it work, easy. Nope.. lol loaded the vx970v06_05.BIN onto the phone and now when it powers on it says use genuine battery, tried about 5 different batteries, all the same thing. Any one ever do this before? hehe

try reloading via emergency mode. I dont remember emergency offhand but do that

then use lgdownload and choose emergency and load the bin.
then do scr again
DO NOT WRITE WAP
nv edit then close
open up bitpim or qpst file explorer and load FileDB. (found in lg section)
then either go back on lgdownload or do ##PROGRAM9700 and set it up

many LG batteries are bad especially the aftermarket ones
try these
1.try testing the batteries on other phones
2.make sure the battery contacts on the phone and on the battery are clean if not ..clean them with alcohol

i don't think this is a software issue but if this doesn't work try what the guy on top posted
if that doesn't work you probably busted something inside the phone
