Pretend to be-surprised: Amazon just unveiled a new streaming video product during a press conference on Wednesday. Reports of Amazon’s Apple TV competitor-have been coming hot and heavy over the past few weeks, and now the box is finally official. Dubbed Fire TV, the new device will plug into a television set and allow users to stream video content over the Internet to their screens. Amazon’s Prime video will take center stage on the device, but it will also support content from third-party providers including Netflix-and-Hulu Plus (other apps-such as HBO Go and Showtime Anytime will be added in the future).
