explain exactly what u did so we can further help you
Well i got v08 on there...Verizon didn't even question me about my account lol.
I used the files on the following page and overwrote them in the directories that match, but it still no internet.
Any ideas?
All the info looks correct...can someone test those files and tell me if the info is correct?
i replaced the filedb file in some broswer dir in the phone file system.
i replaced lg_mms_000.nv (or something like that) in another dir that had the same filename.
i changed the PRL to the cricket one for my area.
used qpst to change to sip from mip..
I THINK that's it lol
well thats not enuff u first off need LGNPST LAB Version 3 Components VX11k DLL and Generic DLL which are all found in one spot on this forum its in the LG Section look for my post regarding lots of firmware links it has the software that u need to change the settings
yeah...my issue with LGNPST above still stands...the phone settings window never pops up...last time i had this issue, smitty sent me phonesetting.ocx...now i'm not sure if the copy i used before had it already in the dir...but this one DOES have a file named the same thing....sadly that copy was on another computer so i can't access it...any idea where i can find that ocx file, cuz i have searched all over online for it, but to no avail...
But i know it isn't my copy of LGNPST...cuz i tried 1.1 lab and 1.2 lab...and both do the same thing...i also tried it on my vista laptop cuz my desktop runs win7...oddly enough LG update tool won't work either...just freezes on checking model (program doesn't stop responding, it just doesn't go any further)...but i guess Verizon uses something different, cuz they loaded v08 in like 15 minutes
u need to install the VX9200 msi which is posted in the lg section it will get rid of the phone setting issue and the nv edit window not appearing properly
