Sprint quietly discontinued its OneUp early upgrade program and is now directing customers to its Framily Plans. Sprint axed the OneUp program on January 9, the same day it announced the Framily option. The OneUp program allowed Sprint customers to upgrade once every 12 months and offered discounts to those who brought their own devices. The short-lived program was unveiled just four months ago. The Framily plans offer nominal discounts to people who pool their plans together, reducing the cost by $5 per month per device added. Sprint has not said if it will introduce a new upgrade program, or if it will reduce plan prices once subsidies are paid off.
